Sunbury Business Association

The Sunbury Chamber of Commerce has a new name - Sunbury Business Association (SBA) and our main aim is to help promote local businesses and encourage people to shop in Sunbury.

The Sunbury Chamber of Commerce was founded in the 1980s to provide Sunbury businesses with a strong advocacy presence, promoting local trade and investment, networking opportunities and the exchange of information.

In November 2010 the Chamber was reconstituted with a new executive team and general committee. The total number of Committee members is nine, consisting of four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and five ordinary members. Membership in the Sunbury Business Association is open to all businesses in Sunbury including home-based businesses.

In November 2011 a new executive team and general committee was elected comprising of:

President: Michael Osborne, McMahon Osborne Consulting
Vice President: Ben Collier, Collier Pereira IT Services
Secretary: Sylvia Unferdorben, Elusive Style
Treasurer: Sam D'Angelo, Barry Plant
Committee: Michael Barnard, Aussie Home Loans
Rob Anderson, Aussie Home Loans
Ben Collier, Collier Pereira Services

2012 promises to be an important year for the Association as it launches a proposal to introduce the Sunbury Marketing and Development Fund to raise $150,000 to employ a part-time Centre Manager to co-ordinate traders’ activities, marketing and promotions and provide a secure revenue stream to establish the traders association for the long term.
